RP#2- Enlightened In A Rainstorm

Destiny...

I can feel its hand resting above my shoulder, waiting for me to reach up and seize it. I can feel it looking over my shoulder, mapping out the path ahead of me. And at the end of my destination...

...Chris Blue, Roger Clark.

The moment of our confrontation draws ever closer, Roger and Chris. Each passing second brings us closer to our reckoning... and the moment where you pay for your crimes in full, bloody and exquisite detail.

If only you knew what was in store for you in one day. If only you knew. Then you’d know you have much more important things to worry about than the NAWF closing.

Roger and Chris, I see that you both have things in common, one that comes to mind is, I can see through the façade you project to everyone else. I can see you two for the low down, double-dealing, two-faced little snakes you really are.

Chris, whether it’s in any federation you came from you’re nothing but poison to whatever fed you join.

Roger, you’re a self-serving little sneak, out for himself and himself alone. You might fool others with your little act. You might have convinced some that you really are the ideal champion or ideal leader you portray yourself to be.

But I know different. I know that’s nothing but a big lie.

You got this one-chance guys, one chance to prove me wrong. You lose...you lose everything.

The scene cuts from The Shiekdaddies home to what appears to be a field. An dark field. The camera pans around to see all the dead wet grass when the Shiekdaddie is seen standing in the middle looking up into the dark sky. Bright lights turn on within the field and brighten up the field. The camera zooms in to Shiekdaddie.

Mike Shiekman: Even thought you are "competition" here in the NAWF, Chris, you are still worth nothing compared to me. Here are some words of advice for Chris. I am considered one of the best NAWF has to offer, some come prepared. Spare nothing, and do whatever it takes, because I know I will, however little that may be. Right now in the wrestling world you are nothing, so change that and make yourself someone. Give me a challenge. Make me earn my pride, my glory... my recognition. Realize Chris and Roger, that you both are just trying to find a ground to walk on, to BE A CHAMPION, while I... I walk a different road. A road of horror, a narrow road with no turns that only the bravest of men would dare travel. I’m a champion, a feeling that Roger has earned before, where Chris is one step away tonight. Roger hasn’t hit this road since beating Masset at Ffull Speed Ahead a while back. While me and the Dream both can become double champions if one of us wins next week for the IC Title at Blaze to Glory. But this road,  Pain... pain is a bridge on that road carrying the traveler over dark waters of deceit and scorn. Debt... a debt incurred in this road is a lifelong bond; a hunger to be satiated is a debt of blood and it requires sacrifice. An untouchable sacrifice...

Mike feels enlightened

Light seems to think it travels faster than anything, but it does not. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness is always one step ahead, overcoming everything in sight. I am like this darkness, as the light tries to conquer my every being, the darkness is always there, lurking, one-step ahead. The greatest harm can result from the best intentions. Everyone longs for release from the labyrinth of my past, but they don't understand. I've lost everything I had, and kept going strong. I lost my brother, my dad, and my mom is in severe condition, in all of a month... and it took every ounce of my strength to keep going, but I persevered. I know you fear me Chris and Roger, and if you don't you should, because I am that much better than you both, hands down. What is there for me to fear? Why fear what you have already conquered?

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...and I will proceed to take down you both, without fear, as the only thought left in my body is to defeat you two and reclaim the gold that BELONGS to the man without fear, and his partner, the Dream and Mike Shiekman.

The rain continued to pour, as Mike sits there, legs crossed, rocking himself back and forth and the scene ends.
