RP#2- Radio Interview

"Welcome back to 103.1, The Bear. Parkersburg...Marietta. This is Bob & Tom in the morning, the best rock all day. Right now, we've got a 30-minute rock block brought to you by Napoli's Pizza coming on the way, but first, the interview you've been waiting on for weeks. We have, right here in the Parkersburg studio with Bob & Tom, an NAWF Grand Slammer and he has a legendary history in the wrestling business, now entering the MMA business, hometown boy Mike Shiekman. Mike, thanks for showing up this morning...

"This place is two blocks from my apartment, man. I'm having a fine morning..."

"Did you wake and bake?"

"Hahaha...let's just say I like to cook early in the morning."

"Now, tell us a little big about your new fed CAGED's next event."

"Well, the Pay Per View is coming up at the end of March, and I'm sure the card will be a very successful one. I'm going to be on the card, that is a certainty. Throw in guys like Deathstroke, Hammerhead, and the newbies...I think that it's going to be one hell of a way to bring CAGED into PPV."

"Definitely will be a show worth watching..."

"If I weren't on it, I'd be sitting in a beanbag chair naked eating Doritos watching it."

Bob & Tom do the obligatory laugh at the crummy overused joke that celebrities who don't know how to work the stick often employ. This is MIKE FREAKIN' SHIEK, though, so you'd think he would be better.

"Before we get to the Jam Session, do you have anything to say about this Sunday's matches?"

"Make sure you tune in to see me whip Jackson Herod's ass up and down that arena."

"Whoa, strong words from the Shiekdaddie!"

"If I were Jackson, I think I would just stay home Sunday night..."

"Don't give him any ideas, I want him to show up. I got a lot planned for that jerk. Pain. Hurt. Suffering. All of the above. It's going to be one heck of a showdown, so I hope all my bros and hos tune in."

"I'm sure we all will. Now, it's time for the Jam Session. When we get someone who can actually play their instrument on this show, we ask them to jam a little for us. Thankfully, Mike here is a five-year veteran on the guitar. And he's got a little medley of songs prepared to sing for us. Right?"

"Yeah, a little acoustic jam..."

Mike doesn't waste time, starting out slow.

I'm in the sky tonight,

There I can keep by your side...

Watching the wide world riot and hiding out...

I'll be coming home next year."

"Into the sun we climb...

Climbing our wings will burn white...

Everyone strapped in tight, we'll ride it out.

I'll be coming home next year."

"Come on, get on, get on...

Take it till life runs out.

No one can find us now,

Living with our heads underground..."

"Into the night we shine,

Lighting the way we glide by,

Catch me if I get too high;

When I come down,
I'll be coming home next year."

They skip tape as Mike quickly gets crazy for a finale...

"Every time you call my name,

I heat up like a burnin' flame!

Burnin' flame full of desire...

Kiss me baby, let the fire get higher!"

"Abra-abra-cadabra...

I want to reach out and grab ya!

Abra-abra-cadabra...

Abracadabra!"

Mike continues to play the familar lead riff under the announcer's voice.

"We're out of time, thanks for listening, have a good day here with 103.1, The Bear!"

Everyone applauds inside the studio as the show cuts to a commercial break.
